Julia and Maxine joined the Neil Diamond Band in 2005 to compliment sole backing singer Linda Press, they have certainly made an impact, with their vibrancy and almost gospel like vocals.
The Waters’ come from a very musical family and have a very distinguished list of hits to their credit, Gino Vanelli’s ‘I just Wanna Stop’, Yvonne Elliman’s ‘If I Can’t Have You’, a smash hit from the Saturday Night fever soundtrack, Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ album, and Donna Summer’s ‘Bad Girls’ album.
Julia also contributed on Carole King’s legendary ‘Tapestry’ album, both Maxine and Julia have a long list of commercial credits to their names, speaking about supporting Neil Diamond, they say he is a perfectionist, and leaves nothing to chance, but his shows are amazing, and he looks after all the band members.
Julia enjoys reading, where her favourites are crime and mystery novels, she also loves reading her bible, she listens to all types of music from pop, gospel, to rock.
